Ich bin Yvonne
The stage takes the form of a laboratory of thought and experience of our community with Yvonne.
We want to explore the narrative in a space where Yvonne‘s entire life, but also our new experiences with her and the live experience with the audience come together.
All around the stage are small pink brains wrapped in fabric synapses that seem to be the bases of Yvonnes memories. Together with the projection they transform as needed into all the important places of the play. Large mirrors echo the supermarket, but also reflect the audience, who can in turn watch themselves, taking part in the performance. The play on multiplicity is articulated like a mirror, we perceive
another angle at each glance.
We ask the question of copying on stage, how to reproduce and capture an experience, to relate a memory. Are we even narrators or are we temporarily living in Yvonne‘s world?
